Day & Night

On land there are plenty of activities available throughout the day in which to take part or you may prefer to lounge on a sun bed and while away the hours with a good book. At night enjoy a cocktail in the bar as the sun dips below the horizon, later have some fun with new found friends whilst being entertained.

The Funama and Ahima Restaurants

Vilamendhoo Island Resort features two buffet restaurant serving identical menus. Your restaurant will depend on your room category. The Funama restaurant serves guest resident in the Garden and Beach Villas and the Ahima 'adult only' restaurant serves guest resident in the Jacuzzi Beach Villa and Jacuzzi Water Villas. The dress code for both restaurants is very relaxed, many guests opt for barefoot. Bathing suits are allowed for breakfast and lunch although you must cover your shoulders and for dinner shorts with a polo shirt is perfect...

The Asian Wok Restaurant

Vilamendhoo features two a la carte restaurants, The Asian Wok restaurant serves guests in the evening from 7.30pm and specialises is Southeast Asian cuisine and Teppanyaki. Located on the eastern end of the island the restaurant has a wooden deck over the water.

The Hot Rock Restaurant

Located on the Sunset Bar pool deck the Hot Rock Restaurant features seafood, steak or chicken cooked at your table on volcanic 'hot rocks'.

The Bars

There are four bars situated on Vilamendhoo Island Resort, The Boashi Bar at the eastern end of the island, The Sunset Bar besides the Ahima Restaurant which affords the best view of the setting sun, the Asian Wok Bar which serves drinks daily from 1pm and finally the The Bonthi Bar.

The Bonthi Bar

Located on the beach next to the Funama Restaurant, the Bonthi Bar features a sports bar with tabl etennis, billiards, football, darts, board games and satellite TV coverage of international sporting events; a disco and a lending library. The Bonthi Bar is open 24 hours.

Duniye Spa

The Duniye Spa is an over-water spa offering the perfect enviroment to sooth your body, stimulate your mind and strengthen your spirit.

All Inclusive Package - Dining

The All Inclusive package includes Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner served in The Funama restaurant for guests staying in the Garden and Beach Villas and in the Ahima Restaurant for guests staying in the Jacuzzi Beach Villas and Jacuzzi Water Villas.

All Inclusive - Drinks

24 Hour Tea served in both the Bonthi Bar and Sunset Bar. Unlimited 'all you can drink' alchoholic and non-alcoholic beverages all day and all night. You drinks include bottled water, soft drinks, fruit juice, beer, coffe, tea, house wine, house spirits and daily special cocktails. Your All Inclusive also includes your mini-bar which is refilled once per day.

All Inclusive - Activities

Also included in your All Inclusive Package is a sunset cruise, a snorkeling lesson, a windsurf lesson and a tennis lesson. You will also have free use of the fitness centre, the tennis courts (daytime), badminton court, kayaks and windsurfers.
