Dining - Maaniyaa The Main Restaurant & Bar

Buffet style meals in a casual relaxed atmosphere are available throughout the day in the Resorts main restaurant commencing with a hearty breakfast, followed by a delicious lunch and concluding each evening with a sumptuous dinner. There are regular theme nights where the chef tempts you to sample local and various international cuisine providing a unique opportunity to experience some lesser known dishes. The Maaniyaa wine list is extensive with familiar favourites available from more traditional vineyards together with wines from the New World. The Main Bar is open 24 hours and serves and array of alcoholic and no alcoholic drinks.

Dining - Guraa Muli Grill Terrace & Bar

Enjoy delicious fruits de mare in wonderful surroundings close to the beach – freshly landed fish and mouth watering meat grilled to your liking and served throughout the day, in the evening as the sun goes down and the stars light up the skies a romantic atmosphere is created.

Dining - Al Pontile

The Jetty is the resorts stylish and popular Italian restaurant constructed over the lagoon with views of the house reef. Style and elegance pervade throughout the air conditioned areas and extend onto the outside terrace where an al fresco dining can be experienced. Wonderful Italian food and interestingly Japanese alternatives are offered to tempt even the nost discerning palette.

Renew your Vows or Celebrate your Wedding in Paradise on an exclusive private island

As you arrive at the pier the celebrations commence with a traditional Maldivian greeting that includes dancers gyrating to folk music you are then escorted into the lounge area where you will be welcomed with a garland of scented flowers, then you will be presented with two very special young tender coconuts and guided to your room. In the privacy of your room, you can relax and enjoy a bottle of champagne with a basket of selected tropical fruits, reward after the tiring journey at the start of your romantic honeymoon. Kaiveni Rey - Honeymoon celebration on Virgin Island – approximately forty minutes before sunset The Bride and Groom float on a small dhoni known as the Bokkura paddling from Sun Island to a deserted beach location especially selected for the occasion. On arrival the Rahveriyaa - the Island Chief will welcome you with garlands and an especially prepared Virgin Bride cocktail, (an optional bar will be in operation from 17:00 – 22:00 drinks consumed are charged to your room). In the evening an exclusive Coral Garden champagne barbecue is served on the beach with traditional celebrations known to Maldivians as Kaivenu Rey, which is in recognition of the celebration of the first evening of the marriage. A (Jifuti), a typical Maldivian hut has been prepared, this type of hut has been in use since the 18th century and is traditionally the place dedicated for the first evening of marriage to confirm the commitment, a late night surprise known as Coco Float is served and is meant to enhance and stimulates the couple’s love for each other. Brides Day The following day, you will be served Breakfast in Bed when you awake. After breakfast you will return to the Resort floating on the Bokkura, the memory of this first special night spent together on a deserted desert island is something that you will both treasure and the memory will remain with you throughout your marriage.
