Nuwara Eliya Golf Club

The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club covers public parkland that runs through much of the centre of the small town. Situated almost 2000 meters above sea level this championship course is one of Asia's finest and most challenging for players of all ability. A hilly and scenic course with tight fairways and some dense rough, it has some interesting holes at least six of which involve water.

The clubhouse in the centre of the town can be reached very easily by taxi or tuk tuk at little cost from all of our hotels in Nuwara Eliya. Golf Club and shoe hire are available at reasonable cost and there is always a caddy on hand to offer essential local knowledge and to ease the burden by carrying your clubs. We recommend pre booking and we would be pleased to make arrangements on your behalf.

After a satisfying round of golf why not enjoy a well earned drink on the terrace of the Club House overlooking the course? The relaxing atmosphere provides an opportunity to talk over the highlights of the course with fellow players and discuss your game and how you might approach each hole on your next round.
