Meeru Island Resort is situated on the island of Meerufenfushi, located at the easternmost point of North Male' Atoll. The island is almost entirely made up of soft white sand and at 70 acres it is one of the largest islands in the Maldives. Every effort has been made to preserve the islands natural beauty with large parts remaining untouched.

Dining Options

Meeru Island Resort features four restaurants, Farivalhu Restaurant, Maalan Restaurant, Goma Boat, the Asian Wok, the Hot Rock Restaurant and the Hungaanu Coffee Shop all serving a wide range of tempting cuisine.

Beach Villas

Fringing the island, and set back behind the beach vegetation, a row of 77 villas stretch out along the west side of the island to complete the effect of a village. These pine chalets with their wide, shaded verandas offer a cool retreat at the end of an action packed day.

Jacuzzi Beach Villas

Larger than the Beach Villas with a private, walled-in outdoor area featuring a Jacuzzi for two "under the stars", a wooden sundeck, a shade Pavilion and a small tropical garden.

Water Villas

Situated just steps from the ocean you can dip your toes in one of the 27 water villas. Each carefully sited water villa affords breathtaking views of the ocean. Sit on the balcony and listen to the breakers crash on to the reef in the distance, or step down on to the deck to sunbathe with the waves lapping gently underneath you. Inside the pinewood lined rooms, a 4-poster bed awaits at the end of the day.

Jacuzzi Water Villa

Located over-the-water in the lagoon. Just a short walk along your private jetty to this secluded hideaway featuring a large bedroom, a sitting area with Cable TV, a DVD player, and an espresso machine; a spacious bathroom with double vanities, a private sundeck with steps into the sea, and a Jacuzzi for two.

Honeymoon Suites

The Honeymoon Suites are located over-the-water, in the lagoon accessed by a short “dhoni” boat ride from shore. The Honeymoon Suite feature the same facilities as the Jacuzzi Water Villas and in addition feature a living room/dining room area, a stocked kitchenette for breakfast, ayour private “lagoon” pool and a room service menu for dining on your sundeck/terrace

No Shoes, No News

The dress code on Meeru Island is very informal - Dress as you wish. The minimum for the bars, restaurant and reception is a T-shirt and shorts or just a 'cover-up' for your swimming costume.

All Inclusive Package - Dining

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner served in the Farivalhu Restaurant for guests staying in the Southern end of the island and in the Maalan Restaurant for guests staying in the Northern end of the island, featuring “all you can eat” buffets with a variety of menus to please everyone’s taste.

All Inclusive - Drinks

Unlimited “all you can drink” alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as follows: Bottled Water, Soft Drinks, Fruit Juice (Canned), Coffee, Tea, Iced Coffee, Iced Tea, Draught Beer, House Wine (Red & White) and Spirits (House Brand Spirits - Gin, Vodka, Rum and Whisky.)

All Inclusive - Activities

One Sunset Cruise, a 1/2 hour Snorkelling Lesson, a 1/2 hour Windsurf Lesson, a 1/2 hour Golf Driving Range Lesson, Free use of the Fitness Center, Golf Driving Range, daytime use of the Tennis, Volleyball and Badminton Courts, Table Tennis, Billiards, Snooker, Darts and Football pitch. Your All Inclusive package also includes Free use of the Kayaks and Windsurfers.
