Kurumab Resort is situated on Vihamanafushi island in the North Male atoll just a short ten minute luxury speedboat journey from the international airport at Male’s Hulhule island, but in terms of beauty and tranquillity it’s a world apart.

Dining Options at Kurumba Resort

Guests staying on Bed & Breakfast or Half Board can enjoy delicious international cuisine served buffet style in the main restaurant. Guests who choose to opt and pay for the popular ‘dine around’ option can make a selection and dine at any of the many restaurants outlets on the resort, these include The Ocean Grill barbecue and seafood restaurant, Golden cowry Italian, Kurumba Mahal Indian, Ming Court Chinese, Vilhamana International buffet, Poolside Pizzeria,Al Qasr Lebanese and Hamakaze Japanese-Sushi, Sashimi and Teppen-yaki. There is also the popular coffee shop and beach bar.

Couples who choose to spend their honeymoon at Kurumba will receive a basket of fresh fruit in their room on arrival and be entitled to one complimentary candlelit dinner during their stay, this is a set menu decided by the hotel and includes a bottle of wine – please note you must inform us at the time of booking to take advantage of this offer.

Your Wedding Vow Day Begins...

Starting at the Kurumba Spa with an Absolute Spa Ritual, a special treatment designed to be shared. Feel your senses come alive as you both relax with a wellbeing massage and a radiance facial treatment, finally staff are on hand to assist you as you dress in traditional Maldivian clothes, a boat takes you on a short journey to a setting created just for the two of you with the beating of drums in the background and flower girls escorting you to the altar.

The Wedding Vows...

With the Sun, Sea and Sand as your witness you both exchange vows after which you are presented with a hand carved Certificate. After cutting the Wedding Cake the Bride and Groom are escorted by their private butler on a cruise into the sunset, a chance to sip champagne whilst watching Dolphins play in the romantic red glow of the setting sun. Drop anchor on a Deserted island where a Chef has prepared a sumptuous four course dinner especially created for the occasion. Enjoy a special romantic evening under the stars as a small band plays music especially for you. Sail back under moonlight to your villa, slip into a bath infused with exotic essential oils to stimulate your senses. Your bed, specially decorated in traditional style awaits - the following morning awake to a Champagne breakfast just for two.
