Le Touessrok - Ile Aux Cerfs

A short boat ride across a lagoon to a private island and the extraordinary challenge that awaits at the unique One & Only Le Touessrok Golf Course, which has added a new edge to an ancient game. Surrounded by the waters of the Indian Ocean the island has been landscaped and is simply perfect for golf. The course winds along and around the island and the natural coastline consist of little bays and inlets with promontories, once ashore you will notice that the island is undulating with lakes and gullies that add a new and interesting challenge at every turn. The natural flora and forna completes the picture with varieties of trees and plants in a tropical setting. At each hole a view of the ocean awaits as a you stand and look around at the beauty, it is important also to concentrate on the fairway as accuracy is vital to achieve a respectable result. The course is forgiving to the novice but challenging to the low handicap player who is provided with the opportunity to take the shorter route with the more skilled and daring shot often across one of the water hazards.

Please note normal dress code required for Golfers, soft spikes only and golf cart hire is compulsory. The course is open daily from 06:30 until sunset. There is an excellent professional shop with equipment hire and good practice facilities. Enjoy a meal after your round in the excellent restaurant with panoramic views of the course and the ocean.
