Golf at Le Telfair Golf & Spa - Golf du Château

Attached to the Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort is the magnificent 18 hole, "Golf du Château". This International golf course is set in over one hundred hectares in the beautiful scenic Domaine de Bel Ombre between the mountains and the sea in an undulating landscape interspersed with lakes, streams and tropical trees. Designed by the renowned South African architect Peter Matkovitch this par 72 course is both technically challenging and varied, providing golfers of all ability with a game to remember.

Golf at le Paradis and Tamarina

Thanks to a preferential agreement, guest’s of the Heritage Le Telfair can enjoy two other golf courses, both offering different challenges and spectacular scenery. Firstly, the Par 72 Tamarina Golf Estate & Beach Club, designed by Wright Golf Design. The course overlooks the mountains and offers a real challenge.And secondly, the picturesque Par 72 Le Paradis Golf Club located around one of the island's most beautiful lagoons with the magnificent Le Morne Mountain as a back drop.

Childrens Club - Timomo & Friends

The Timomo & Friends miniclub, offer your children access to a varied programme of activities especially designed for each age group. Activities include Hunt for Crabs, play in the club pool and creating works of art. For older children the activities can include an introduction to golf, Karaoke,Tennis tournaments, beach volleyball, horse riding on the beach and Mauritian style beach parties.

Unique to Telfair is the interaction between the diners and the chef that allows the guest to contribute ideas in the creation of dishes, in full view of everyone in a spectacular open kitchen.

Dining - Annabellas

In tribute to Annabella, the wife of Charles Telfair, this restaurant has been specifically designed in the style of a typical plantation owners homes. Run as a 'Chic' brasserie, with half-moon shaped banquettes, rattan chairs and traditional open kitchen to allow diners full access. Watch the food being prepared; these are all elements that give this place the special atmosphere of a journey backwards through time. Divided into four distinct areas, Annabella's can choose a different setting for itself every day on the terrace or overlooking the Citronniers River. Every day the chef presents a creative menu which is constantly renewed, offering European cuisine with Mauritian influences. Dining - Gin'ja

Built on the white sand at the lagoon's edge, the Gin'ja restaurant's décor is fashionable but the atmosphere is relaxed. This restaurant invites you to experience Japanese and Asian cuisine, both traditional and contemporary. Dining - Le Château de Bel Ombre

A timeless port-of-call for true gourmets Le Château de Bel Ombre is an enchanting and exceptional place. The Cavendish Bar

The name "Cavendish" refers to a type of banana imported to Mauritius by Charles Telfair. It is in this bar before or after dinner that those in the know relax in comfortable armchairs enjoying a cocktail or liqueur. For whiskey connoisseurs, a menu of 100 "single malts" exceeds the most demanding expectations. Live music accompanies these pleasant moments. As for the décor, the "English smoking room" atmosphere of colonial times is enhanced by beautiful coffered ceilings decorated with the arms of personalities who stayed at Bel Ombre.
