Heathrow Connections

Terminal 1 Domestic Connecting to Terminal 4 International

On leaving the aircraft please follow the signs for Flight Connections. You will be asked to show your ticket before you enter the departure lounge.

A dedicated bus will take you to your departure terminal. They are free and depart every 6 minutes.

Once you arrive in the departure lounge you will be ready for your next flight. Check the screens for information about your flight, as they will tell you when to go to your departure gate. Meanwhile, you can relax, shop & eat. Please note there are no service facilities or shops at the departure gates. If you are a non-UK resident and wish to reclaim VAT on any purchases, you can do so in the departure lounge.

In some cases you may be required to collect your hold luggage before transferring to the next terminal.

The check-in staff at your original departure point will advise you if you can `transit' between Heathrow terminals or whether you will be required to collect your hold luggage from the baggage reclaim, then transfer to the next terminal and then to check-in again for your international flight.
