Galle - Sri Lanka

If you are staying in the southern region of Sri Lanka during the month of August, you should visit Dondra, just five kilometres from Matara during the festival dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The festival features low-country dancing, rituals, arts and crafts, and a perahera. The festival usually takes place at the very end of July or beginning of August.
