Why Not plan your holiday to include the elephant gathering in Minneriya. More than 300 wild elephants gather during the summer season along the banks for food, water, shelter, and mating. Elephants are social animals and seeing one in the wild is definitely not something you experience everyday. Between July and October, you will see a high concentration of these magnificent animals.
